How it works
Automating a process with automaited is very simple! There are 2 ways to an automation:
1. Recording
After signing in the user clicks on the "Start recording" button.
Now the user shows the process to the automaited assistant.
Once done, name the recording and press the upload button. That's it!
Our team will check the recording for any missing information. Once all is clear, we run the process through our system to generate the automation. Depending on the complexity of the process, this might take some time.
When the processing is done, the user will receive a smartbutton in the application.
The user can execute the process with just one click.
2. Chat
After collaboratively realizing a few automations using the recording function, we can activate the chat assistant feature for selected users.
This allows users to articulate and demonstrate the specific process they wish to automate directly to the automaited assistant. The assistant's intuitive design ensures ease of use; it will prompt the user with questions to clarify any omissions.
The automation is generated instantly. Users are then equipped with a smartbutton within the application, enabling them to initiate the automated process with a single click.
Now the users can enjoy the power of automaited.

The automaited assistant can be used for any process that the user performs. Here are examples of use cases that show some of the capabilities the automaited assistant has.
Example 1 - Order Processing
In this process the user receives emails from different customers with orders. The orders are attached as PDF to the email. The user needs to extract all the information from the document and then enter the data in different places in their ERP system.
Now, with the automation available the automaited assistant performs the following tasks for the user:
- Extract data from PDF (the extraction could also be from the mail)
- Modify data into the required formats
- Enter data in the relevant places in the ERP system
- Navigate through the system and the relevant masks
- Take decision based on pre-populated information (e.g., does the field need to be updated)
Now it takes the user just 1-2 clicks until the process is completed. Time saved and errors avoided.

Example 2 - Ticket Handling
In this process the user needs to process operational tickets. The tickets are visible in a ticketing system. The user opens a ticket, opens the relevant page in the ERP system and starts to perform the required tasks. In this example the customer's billing address needs to be updated.
Now, with the automation available the automaited assistant performs the following tasks for the user:
- Extract data from the ticket (here JIRA)
- Modify data into the required formats (e.g., split address details)
- Enter data in the relevant places in the ERP system (here Salesforce)
- Navigate through the system and the relevant masks
Now it takes the user just 1 click and the process is completed. Time saved and errors avoided.

Steps towards your first automation

3. User Onboarding
Setting up the Automated assistant may require your IT department's approval. We'll handle this step, communicating all the essential details to your IT team. With their green light, the users can proceed to install the assistant.
4. Process Recording
In the final step the user records the chosen process. We use this recording to develop your custom automation. If there are any missing context details, we'll work directly with the user to obtain them.
