PDF to SAP
The situation
In this use case, an employee must enter data from a PDF into an SAP system.
The PDF is a payment file from which the data must be correctly assigned and posted in the SAP system. Thus, several manual steps are performed to transfer the data.
These steps include filling in the document date, the invoice reference, the correct bank account and other input fields that need to be filled in.
Some of this data must also be pulled from other windows and entered.
To perform these steps more quickly, automaited supports the employee with automation in the form of a "Maite" or an AI-powered process automation assistant.
What is a Maite?
A 'maite' is the helper for the automaited user, leveraging natural language to understand the context of what needs to be automaited and developing and executing the automation at ease - as a conversation!
As soon as the employee performs a repetitive work step, he can create a 'maite' for this step.
This 'maite' contains the automation of the work step and is saved. Thus, the 'maite' also acts a 'smart button' which can be used again and again - as a store of defined automation -for the same work steps and could also be used by team colleagues - without the need to go through the process again.
How automaited optimized for this process at scale
automaited supports the employee with the help of the Maites. The work steps that previously had to be performed manually are now automatically taken over by the Maites. In the future, the employee will be able to select the saved Maite each time and have the steps executed automatically.
